Thousands of banners on a single website.
The first search engine created exclusively for banners has been launched.
(BGB) May 29, 2006. -- While searching for an original concept that might become a new and effective on-line marketing tool, three young entrepreneurs, Black, Green and Blue, have created what could become the first of a new generation of search engines: egaroo.com, a website that will bring together 100,000 banners in its first stage.
This project will not only bring together businesses', independent professionals' and individuals' banners worldwide, but it will also give webmasters and users a chance to offer and find services and products based on broad search criteria within this universe of thousands of banners.
"It started as a challenge", says Black. "We wanted to try out new business ideas for our own web-design studio. During the process we found this idea that seemed so obvious we almost ignored it. As it is such an obvious feature we bet on this new concept to develop a complete and exclusive banners' search system."
Small and medium-size companies and businesses of any type will have the opportunity to explore a global market of millions of Internet consumers. From giant multinational corporations to counterculture bloggers, they will all have, for the first time, the chance to compete for clicks under the same conditions.
"The main objective is to help everyone, from personal trainers in California to independent filmmakers in Brazil and karaoke bars in Japan - as well as bloggers from Iceland and free lance London designers - to advertise their services with the same opportunities as companies with +1000 employees and advertising budgets worth millions", says Black.
